Regional Service Development Officer.

Emma Frost
Emma Frost is the Service Development
Officer for East Anglia. Her area of
responsibility covers Cambridgeshire,
Norfolk and Suffolk. The purpose of
Emma’s role is to work with health and
social care providers across the area to try
and increase and improve upon existing
services for people with Multiple Sclerosis.
Emma views this as having a wide
reaching remit to include services such as
MS Nurses, Occupational Therapists and
other statutory service providers as well as
engaging with other voluntary and
independent resources.
Health and social care providers have been
a key feature throughout her life, as she
was born with Cerebral Palsy. In 2000
Emma was diagnosed with Relapsing
Remitting Multiple Sclerosis so she hopes
her personal experience of both disability
and MS will enable her to see both sides of
the coin, where service provision is
concerned. Like all of you Emma is
passionate about improving services
within our area.
With a background in person centred
planning, Emma hopes to be able to
provide an enabling voice for people with
MS and to improve and help implement
the services you require. Emma’s focus for
the immediate few months is to introduce
herself to branches and regional
committee and the strong volunteer base
and initiate a united working relationship.
Emma looks forward to meeting and
working with you soon. Emma’s contact
details are
efrost@mssociety.org.uk
and her mobile number is
07765898778.
West Suffolk Audit of Services

The MS Society have completed the audit of West Suffolk services and a copy of the report and action plan can be found below. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the professionals who have been involved in this and especially to all the people affected by MS who attended the workshops and filled in the questionnaires.
We will be doing a mini follow up audit later this year to see how things are progressing.
