The East Anglia Region covers the counties of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. The aim of the Regional Committee is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by multiple sclerosis in the area.
The committee meets quarterly at different locations around the region, making it easier for volunteers to attend meetings.
If you are interested in becoming involved please contact Teresa.
My name is Nikki Young, I am a person with MS and became Regional Chair in 2005. I decided to become a regional volunteer as a result of seeing an advert on this website!
Hilary has recently joined the committee as treasurer.
I have been a member of the Regional Committee for a few years and I lead on our work to improve health and social care services.
I am Kate Whiting and I joined the Regional Committee in 2005. I am also the new Chair of the Anmer MS centre on the Sandringham Estate. On the Committee I am involved in organising and planning regional events.
Until Summer '06 I lived in Birmingham, where I edited the branch Newsletter and Website. We loved Norfolk so much that we decided to move over here (Bungalows are far more plentiful) to North Elmham, bliss. I was very pleased to be able to join the Regional Committee and help with both the Newsletter and Website.
