I'm Julie McWilliam and my role is to liaise with statutory and other external service providers to ensure the establishment, development and maintenance of current services.
I joined the Service Development Team in November 2005 and have been trying to meet up with branch committees, time permitting … for them and me.
To make sure that these services are relevant and effective I need input from local service users and branch representatives.
Over time this input will be achieved through surveys (yes - more surveys!), small local group meetings, larger regional meetings or conferences and specifically targeted focus groups.
Wherever possible I will try to use scheduled events for gathering information so that I avoid ’meeting overload’ for service users and committee members who, I know, are already heavily committed.
