A review of policy relating to patients who choose to pay privately for drugs or treatments not funded on the NHS is being led by Professor Mike Richards, National Cancer Director at the Department of Health. Currently, some patients are required to pay privately for drugs not funded on the NHS and as a result, are required to pay for the NHS care that they would otherwise have received for free.
If you are one of these patients or simply have a view on the current system, then please get in touch by filling out the MS Society's questionnaire (51 kb)
.
If you are paying for any of the following treatments not available on the NHS then please tell us about your experience before Monday 18th August 2008
The MS Society is developing a policy position on top up payments therefore we need your evidence and your views. We shall be feeding back directly to Professor Mike Richards on your behalf so please fill out the questionnaire and return it to the details provided. We look forward to hearing from you.
