MS Society invites MS register tenders from researchers
24 Apr 2008
The MS Society is inviting proposals to develop a pilot register of people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) in the UK.
The MS Society UK MS Register will provide important information on the numbers of people living with MS, and the social and economic impact on their lives. We hope this will ultimately inform the planning and delivery of services on a local and national level and improve the care and support available to people with MS.
We are asking researchers to come forward with proposals for implementing the first stage of the Register, which will be a series of pilot projects across the UK during 2008. Lessons learned will help us make sure that the full Register works as well as possible.
