'It's over a year since the scheme was announced to provide disease modifying drugs on the NHS. Setting up the scheme has proved a challenge but come April and the new financial year, things around the country should start to pick up.
Risk Sharing - it's an odd name that needs some explanation. Under the scheme, people with MS who meet the eligibility criteria set out by the Association of British Neurologists can obtain the drugs beta interferon and glatiramer acetate - Avonex, Rebif, Betaferon, Copaxone -? on the NHS. So who takes the risk?'
