Event: PPMS Information Day 2006
Exeter PPMS day held at the Loop Centre in September 2006 was a great success with almost 100 people attending the event.
The day focuses solely on Primary Progressive MS, with a key note talk on 'Understanding primary progressive MS: Current research and future directions' by Consultant Neurologist, Dr Gordon Ingle from the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
Further workshops throughout the day included:
- Healthy Bladder and Bowel - by Nollie Biggins, Continence Advisor from the Doncaster Royal Infirmary
- Mobility and Seating
- by Senior Physiotherapist, Olive German from Sheffield - Health and Sexuality - by Nicki Ward, Lecturer/ Practitioner in MS, University of Central England
