This awareness talk will look at the impact of MS on memory and thinking. The speakers are Dr Liz Doherr, who work as a clinical psychologist in a community neurological rehabilitation team at Peterborough PCT, helping people rehabilitate following brain injury, and Simon Mason who will give his personal perspective of dealing with MS.
The talk will look at:
- The effect of MS on cognitive abilities
- Its impact on people's lives
- How to cope and adapt
- Identifying psychological adjustment to MS
