Event: Living with MS Stoke on Trent

This event is an information day for people with MS and their carers, to be held at the Stoke on Trent Moat House, Stoke. The event will provide an opportunity to learn about living with MS, and also to share information and experiences with other people affected by MS.
The day will include and introductory talk on The Facts about MS, by a leading neurologist (to be confirmed). Margaret White, Chairman of the MS Society Region will also do welcome and introductions.
The information sessions for the day will include:
Fatigue Management in MS, by Karen Vernon, MS Specialist Nurse from Cannock Chase Hospital
Carers caring for themselves (Carers Only), by Gill Wyatt, Chief Officer from the Carers Association of South Staffordshire
Cognitive problems and tips for coping, by Declan McNicoll, the Clinical Neuropsychologist from Leicester General Hospital
Physiotherapy in the management of MS, by Denise Hanlon, the Clinical Specialist in Neurology at Cannock Chase Hospital
These sessions will be repeated in the afternoon.
The day will begin at 9:00am for registration, and 10:00am for the first welcome session. Please complete a form and return to the Conference Team at National Centre.
