Event: Living with MS Darlington

This event is an information day for people with MS and their carers, to be held at Blackwell Grange, Darlington. The event will provide an opportunity to learn about living with MS, and also to share information and experiences with other people affected by MS.
The day will include an introductory talk on Managing MS Symptoms and the Latest Research by Dr Martin Duddy, Consultant Neurologist from the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
The information sessions for the day will include:
Fatigue Management in MS, by Serena Hartley, Clinical Team Leader in Neurology at the University Hospital of North Tees
Carers Forum (families and carers only), by Jim McAndrew, Regional Committee Member
Bladder & Bowel Issues & Sexual Relationships, by Joan Roberts, a Continence Advisor from the Darlington PCT & Doreen Wright, Clinical Lead from STARTT in Newcastle
Cognitive Problems in MS, by Dr Laura Shotton, Clinical Psychologist from the Regional Disability Team/ Community MS Team in Newcastle.
