Fundraising events in Scotland

  • The Loch Ness Marathon course starts on the high ground between Fort Augustus and Foyers before dropping down to the banks of the loch and finishing at Bught Park in the centre of Inverness. Along the route you will be able to take in the scenic beauty of the area and see where the legend of the Loch Ness monster comes from.

    Entry is now open for the 2012 race. As well as the marathon, there will also be a 10K and 5K Fun Run taking place.

  • The Edinburgh Marathon festival 2012 takes place on the weekend of 26 and 27 May 2012 and includes events such as the marathon, half marathon, team relay, 10K and 5K.  Known as the fastest marathon in the UK, the Edinburgh Marathon is a must whether you’re an experienced runner looking to improve your PB or a first-time runner looking to experience the best race in Scotland.

  • Part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival (EMF), the Edinburgh Hairy Haggis Team Relay is the ideal opportunity to get together with friends and take on a new challenge. The 26.2 miles is split between 4 runners on one of the flattest routes around.

    Launched in 2003, the Edinburgh Marathon is now the second largest marathon in the UK. Starting in Edinburgh city centre, the route takes in Holyrood Park, Leith Links and Portobello Promenade before heading along the coast to East Lothian and finishing in Musselburgh.

  • Cast off your heels and dig out your trainers for the 2012 Glasgow Women’s 10K.

    No matter what your running ability, you can join the 12,000 women taking part in the UK’s largest all-women 10K. Run, walk, jog or wheel your way around the route starting in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.
