Fundraising events in Northern Ireland

  • This popular run winds 26 miles through the Georgian streets of Ireland's capital city, taking in all the sights along the way.

    More than half of the 10,000 runners in this popular marathon come from overseas, many staying to sample the famous Irish hospitality to help boost their post-race relaxation.

  • If you’re an adrenalin junkie this is the event for you. Abseiling is an extremely exhilarating and testing activity requiring participants to ‘go over the top’ and control their own descent to the ground.

    This event takes places at the iconic Europa Hotel, Belfast. The event is suitable for people aged 11 years and over.

     

     

     

  • Try something completely different - walk up Northern Ireland's highest peak, Slieve Donard, with only a torch and the stars to guide you. A truly atmospheric and awe inspiring experience.

    Walkers will sign in at Donard Park Newcastle at 8pm and then begin the climb up 2789ft. You will arrive back at Donard Park Newcastle around 2am- 3am the following morning.

    This event requires a reasonable level of fitness, as you will be walking over rough terrain for around 6 hours....

  • Beginning at Peatlands Park Dungannon, the Lap of the Lough is an 81 mile cycle around Lough Neagh, the largest inland lake in Great Britain and Ireland. This is an outstanding event, taking in some truly breathtaking scenery, and with nearly 2,000 participants.

    Cyclists are asked to arrive from 7am on the morning of the event, with the ride beginning at 9am. There will be comfort breaks every 25 miles, and a sports massage is also available to all particpants.

  • Take to the sky with the MS Society NI

    Experience the iconic skyline of Belfast as you take to the wire and zip slide across the River Lagan. 

    This fantastic event will take place at the water's edge on Oxford Street, beside the Big Fish landmark, close to the Waterfront Hall and facing Laganside Bus Station.

    You can also do the Zip Slide on Sunday 28 July. It's the same start time, location and cost.

     

  • Take to the sky in this adrenaline filled event and help us celebrate 60 years in our fight against MS. Be one of our 60 sky divers to jump from 13,000 ft, attached to a fully qualified instructor and free fall 7,000 ft before opening the parachute.
