Apply for 2009

We are pleased to announce that applications for the 2009 London Marathon are now open!

There are two ways to apply for a place for next year's race and we advise you do both to double your chances of getting in.

1. Official Ballot

You are now able to apply to the official London Marathon ballot at www.london-marathon.co.uk. The ballot will be held in late September, and if you are successful we would love to have you on our team. We will provide you with loads of fundraising and training advice, and wouldn't ask for a minimum sponsorship from you. If you are unsuccessful then you may be able to get one of the MS Society's Gold Bond places.  

2. MS Society Gold Bond

The MS Society has a limited number of guaranteed places in the London Marathon. We are asking for a minimum sponsorship of £2000 for one of these places and we will be operating a ballot to allocate them at the end of October, after the results of the official ballot. To apply for one of these places please complete the application form below and return it to us by October 17th.
