28 September 2008 , Berlin
The Berlin Marathon is consistently voted into the Top 10 of World Marathons. The flat, fast course winds it's way through this historical European capital, ending at the Brandenburg Gate. More than 50,000 runners took part last year with more than a million spectators cheering them on. This is genuine people's race, and not one to be missed!
How do I get a place?
The MS Society have guaranteed places in this race. We are allocating our places on a first come first served basis, and all we ask is for a commitment to raise a minimum sponsorship of £500. (Please note, these places are not tied to a touring operator so you will be able to plan your travel arrangements to suit you own needs)
To gain one of these entry only places, simply fill in the Berlin Marathon 2008 application form and send it into the Events Team along with a cheque for £25 to cover your race entry fee. All cheques to be made payable to the 'MS Society'
Why not run for free?
There are refund packages are available for this race. If you manage to raise £1,000 and over towards your Berlin Marathon place, then the MS Society will refund you up to £250 to go towards the cost of your flights. For more information on these refund packages, please call the MS Events Team
