The Dalai Lama trek begins and ends at Dharmasala, which is situated at the heart of the world's highest mountain range.
At Dharmasala your group will be granted a once in a lifetime chance to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama (subject to His Holinesses' commitments).
The trek takes in largely pristine and unspoilt areas and follows the River Uhl through rhododendron and evergreen forests. During this trek you will take in the sights of India including Hindu settlements and temples and Buddhist monasteries.

Your adventure begins at Dharmasala. Having flown to Delhi and transferred to Dharmasala by local jeep taxi you will have a chance to explore the centre of the vibrant Tibetan community.
Your six day trek is centred around the River Uhl and takes in overnight camping stops in places like Barot, Thadkot and Bal. After your final day of trekking you will have a banquet and stay the night at the Taragarh Palace. Then, having returned to Delhi, you will have the opportunity to explore the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world.
