Location: distance-learning but students are required to spend two weekends (Sat & Sun 9am – 5pm) at Oxford Brookes University, working in a gym with people with a long-term neurological condition

Provider: the MS Society and Oxford Brookes University

Qualification: 20 CATS points at M level.

Price: £870 including VAT

Course overview

This is an innovative distance learning course in exercise rehabilitation for people with long-term neurological conditions, including MS. The course is of six months duration and covers how exercise rehabilitation can be used with people within these populations.

Student assessments are carried out through a case study, multiple choice questions exam and the face-to-face practical gym sessions.

On completion of the course, students will be awarded 20 CATS points at M level. (REPS4 accreditation)

The next course will start in September 2012. As this course is very popular, you are advised to have your application form submitted by mid July.

Dates for the practical gym sessions have yet to be confirmed.
