Jack Osbourne, the son of Black Sabbath star Ozzy and former X Factor judge Sharon, has been diagnosed with MS.
The 26-year-old, who recently became a father, revealed the news in an interview with Hello! magazine.
His diagnosis came after he lost 60 per cent of the vision in his right eye. In the Hello! interview, Jack said he’d experienced a range of emotions upon receiving the news.
Angry
"While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry," he said.
"Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realised, being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point - if anything it's only going to make it worse.”
Jack said he was speaking out to raise awareness of MS and says the support of his fiancé Lisa Stelly - who gave birth to baby Pearl two months ago - is helping him keep a positive outlook.
Emotional
While Jack Osbourne has spent a large part of his life in front of a camera, telling people about your MS diagnosis can be difficult. Feelings of loss and grief, especially after diagnosis, are very common and can be compared to the emotions experienced after the loss of a loved one.
