The MS Society is proud to be a partner in Carers Week, a UK-wide, annual awareness campaign that aims to improve the lives of carers and the people they care for.

This year's theme is Prepared to Care? The campaign focuses on how the UK's current carers population is coping, how effectively the government is supporting the growing numbers of carers, and whether the general public is prepared for future caring responsibilities. Get involved in the campaign on Twitter (#preparedtocare) and Facebook.

We’ll be relaunching our grants funds for carers of people with MS, sharing videos, blogs and stories, lobbying MPs and peers on issues affecting carers’ lives, and providing information and support at local events.

There's hundreds of local events going on up and down the country, from information stalls to taster sessions, family events and opportunities to try treatments and therapies. Find out what's happening near you.

Events are organised by local groups, carers' organisations and employers that help and support carers.

Show you're Prepared to Care? or challenge the UK to Prepare to Care? by taking a photo of yourself holding a downloadable placard for an online gallery of Carers Week supporters.
