Live music and running combined for the first time in the UK.
On 15 April 2012, the former ADT Half Marathon will transform into the UK’s first Rock ‘n’ Roll Edinburgh Half Marathon, adding live bands to the course and a post-race concert. Runners can expect a scenic route through the Edinburgh’s historic city centre as well as live music every mile.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll series started in 1998 and aimed to make running fun. It is now the world’s largest running series with more than 500,000 people taking part in 26 North American cities each year.
Registration fee - £20
Minimum sponsorship - £120
Whatever distance you are running, undertaking a proper training regime is extremely important to make sure you get to the start line injury-free and raring to go.
