The Liverpool marathon has been voted one of the top ten marathons in the UK, so we are thrilled to be an official charity partner for the race.
The course includes both sides of the River Mersey and the original Mersey tunnel, not to mention historic parks and streets.
MS Society Chief Executive, Simon Gillespie, took part in 2011 and here's what he had to say:
"Running the Liverpool marathon was one of my highlights of 2011; the sense of achievement, being inspired by others and most importantly raising vital funds to help our efforts to beat MS."
Special offer
There is now no registration fee for MS Society places in the Liverpool marathon. All you need to do is register on our website by clicking on the sign up button and raise the £300 minimum sponsorship.
Registration fee - FREE
Minimum sponsorship - £300
If you have your own place in the marathon you can still support the MS Society, but there's no minimum sponsorship. Simply complete our online form to let us know you have a place and we will send you a fundraising pack and running vest.
If you would like to register for your own place visit the Liverpool marathon website and select the MS Society. Own place entry is £46 plus booking fee.
