The Loch Ness Marathon course starts on the high ground between Fort Augustus and Foyers before dropping down to the banks of the loch and finishing at Bught Park in the centre of Inverness. Along the route you will be able to take in the scenic beauty of the area and see where the legend of the Loch Ness monster comes from.
Entry is now open for the 2012 race. As well as the marathon, there will also be a 10K and 5K Fun Run taking place.
