The Volunteering Team guides the development and implementation of the MS Society’s volunteer strategy, training and role development initiatives. The post of Training Officer (Volunteers) is vital in ensuring we deliver high quality and consistent learning and development activities for all our volunteers UK wide.
Delivering the MS Support Training Programme alongside local co-trainers for which a schedule of training events is already set (some flexibility available) is a key objective for this role in the first two years. This exciting new programme is being rolled out across the UK and is designed to improve the standards of support and information provided to people affected by MS, by volunteers in our local branches and groups.
You will have experience of developing and delivering a range of learning and development activities and in-depth knowledge of the full learning cycle and learning theories. You will also have a good understanding of the principles of choice and control for individuals living with disabilities and of the processes and practicalities of managing change.

Recruitment will be through an assessment centre.
Candidates will need to be available for a four hour slot on 15 November in Edinburgh for North Trainer or 17 November in London for South Trainer.
