Grant Coordinator (1 year fixed term contract)

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Operations team based at the Scottish National Office, Ratho.
The MS Society provides grants to people with MS for essential items and services needed as a direct result of their MS for which there is no health or social services funding available. We also offer grant funding for short breaks, carers and young carers programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination, administration and assessment of grant applications. You will provide an efficient and effective customer service to applicants, professionals, MS branches and suppliers.
You will need to have experience of working in a busy office environment, providing information, guidance and support in complex and sensitive situations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to communicate diplomatically and effectively both verbally, in writing and in person with a wide range of people.
