Inkjet & Toner Cartridge Recycling Scheme
The Society is working together with inkjet and toner cartridge recycling company Environmental Business Products Ltd (EBP) to increase both our fundraising income and help the environment.
- Over £15,000 per year is raised for MS through cartridge recycling.
- The MS Society will receive a donation for every recyclable inkjet cartridge and toner cartridge returned.
- Our freepost dual purpose recycling bags can accommodate 3 or 4 of the inkjet recycling cartridges (and can also be used for the mobile phones).
- The most common inkjet cartridges collected come from HP (Hewlett Packard), Lexmark and Dell printers, with some Canon cartridges as well, but unfortunately Epson cartridges are not suitable for remanufacturing.
- Large collection boxes are sent out and collected free for users of larger laser cartridges. These can also be used to collect inkjets and mobiles as well.
- A minimum of 25 inkjets, 10 laser toner cartridges or 15 mobile phones are required for a collection.
