How to leave the MS Society a gift
If you would like to help people with multiple sclerosis by leaving a gift to the MS Society in your will there are three ways to do this:
- Leaving a share of your estate to the MS Society
- Leaving a fixed sum of money
- Leaving a specific item of value
Will your gift affect your tax position?
If your money and possessions are worth more than a certain amount, your estate may be liable to inheritance tax. A gift to a registered charity like the MS Society is exempt from Inheritance Tax, so you could be supporting people with MS with money that would otherwise be taken in tax.Request a brochure
