Star Fund

  Setting up a Star Fund in memory of a loved one can act as a way of paying tribute to their life. The Star Fund can give people a focus for remembrance; for example by hosting a fundraising event on their birthday. 

Gift in lieu of flowers

If you are organising a funeral you may feel it is appropriate to ask friends and relatives of your loved one to make a donation to a cause they cared about instead of giving flowers at their funeral. A simple way to do this is to include a request in any obituary notices you place in newspapers or simply tell your family and close friends of your wishes.
