The Corporate Fundraising Team is dedicated to developing mutually beneficial partnerships with the business community using the principles of Cause Related Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility for the benefit of all those affected by MS.
EDF Energy plc (including British Energy)
Employees at British Energy chose the MS Society as their Charity of the Year partner 2008/09.Then in March 2009 EDF Energy also chose the MS Society to become one of their next Charity of the Year partners, with the success of our partnership with British Energy being instrumental in helping them make their decision. The Society joined Global Action Plan (their chosen environmental charity) in working with employees across EDF Energy until March 2010.

Barclays Bank – Counter Top Collection Appeal 2009

Bibendum Wine Ltd
In June 2008 staff at Bibendum selected the MS Society as their chosen charity for a minimum of two years, giving everyone a chance to get involved with various fundraising activities to reach their target of £30,000.Employees at Bibendum have raised over £23,000 so far!
Their first event in 2008 was a 'chest wax' held in their London office which raised £450. Four of their staff ran in the London Marathon in April and collectively raised well over £9,000.
Five employees who have gold bond places are already training for the London Mararthon 2010, and staff are now planning other fundraising events for the coming months. More details to follow on these activities soon...

Kreab Gavin Anderson
Staff at Kreab Gavin Anderson voted the MS Society to be their chosen charity during 2009/10.Twelve employees decided to take part in a weight loss challenge for six weeks to raise funds for people affected by MS which finished at the end of April - just in time for their planned Cake Break on 1 May! They are now planning activities to raise money for the Society during 2010.
Kreab Gavin Anderson will also be volunteering their time during the partnership to run workshops within the MS Society to share their expertise and skills.
