MS Campaigns Network

A sillouette of the Houses of Parliament, with government terminology in the sky

This exciting new network will offer you the chance to stay informed about the campaigns that are going on around the country, report issues you may be facing in your area, influence national campaigns and gain more knowledge to assist you in your own local campaigning efforts.

Six good reasons…

1. Get connected and inspired

Find out what other members are campaigning on and how they are trying to make a difference locally and nationally. Share information, get new ideas and be inspired.

2. Make your voice heard and tell us what you think!

If you have a view, we want to hear it. Create a louder voice for people with MS and influence the MS Society’s national campaigning efforts by getting involved.

3. Get informed, get recognised

Receive the campaigns network update which will give you information on the latest policy developments affecting people with MS. The update is a chance for your campaign to be highlighted and your story to be shared with others.

4. Gain an insight into Westminster and attend our events

Learn about the parliamentary work of the Policy and Campaigns team. Attend our all party parliamentary group meetings, events in Westminster and more.

5. Be empowered to campaign

If you’re trying to change or influence services locally, read our guide to campaigning. This will cover real life case studies showing you how to campaign, when to use the media, how to involve your MP and how to find the right people to speak to. The guide will tell you what you are entitled to and what policies support your entitlement.

6. Win a prize for the MS campaigner of the year

If you are passionate about campaigning and have done something to raise awareness of MS then get acknowledged for your efforts at an MS Society awards ceremony on 1st May 2009.
