12 days of Christmas: let's get fundraising!
The 12 days of Christmas officially start on 25 December, but for those of you who want to get busy fundraising now, check out our festive guide to helping beat MS.
On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me ... an MS Society ecard
Send our special e-cards to your friends and family – raise money for the MS Society and reduce your carbon footprint at the same time.
On the second day … 2 Secret bakers
Join our team of Secret bakers. Bake some festive treats for your colleagues but do it anonymously. Ask for donations and keep everyone guessing who the Secret baker could be!
On the third day… 3 Cryptic quizzes
Have a go at selling our cryptic Christmas quizzes at just £1 each and you could be in with a chance of winning a super-seller prize!
On the fourth day … 4 Christmas parties
Organise a Christmas party or dinner with friends and ask for a donation from guests, instead of bringing a gift for the host.
On the fifth day… 5 santa dashers
On the sixth day … 6 stocking fillers
Check out our Christmas catalogue for gift ideas.
On the seventh day… 7 Christmas raffles
Source a raffle prize from a local shop or ask HR to offer an extra day of annual leave – sell tickets and announce the winner at your Christmas party!
On the eight day … 8 online presents
Did you know you can raise money for the MS Society simply by doing your Christmas shopping online? Find our more at www.giveasyoulive.com.
On the ninth day … 9 intriguing sweepstakes
Guess the weight of the Christmas cake, the length of the boss’s Christmas party speech, the tallest snowman built in a team competition or a santa dasher’s finishing time! Set up an online sweepstake for Christmas at www.guess2give.com
On the tenth day … 10 Christmas crackers
Hate being made to wear those silly hats? Make a donation to the MS Society instead of buying traditional Christmas crackers – we even have place cards to send you which include a joke so you won’t miss out on the Christmas cringes!
On the eleventh day … 11 Christmas dress-down days
Hold a Christmas dress-down day at your workplace, where everyone makes a donation to come into work in casual or festive wear. Dig those Christmas jumpers out!
On the twelfth day … 12 Carol singers
Get together with friends or colleagues and organise some carol singing – don’t forget to take your MS Society donation box!
