Great North Run 2024
Get involved in one of our favourite events and run with us to help stop MS. Take part in this legendary half marathon and help us raise funds for vital research.

The Great North Run is one of our favourite events of the year and we can’t wait to be back again in September 2024. From the anticipation of the Red Arrows flying overhead to the warm and encouraging chants of the crowds along the route, it really is such a special event. We’d love to have you join us!
Where is the Great North Run?
Starting in Newcastle upon Tyne the 13.1 mile route will take you through the city centre towards the River Tyne. From there you'll travel through Gateshead and then up towards South Shields. At the top of Prince Edward Road you’ll be treated to a scenic view of the sea, one of the most welcoming sights along the whole course. Then it’s just over a mile to that all-important finish line.
How to get a place in the Great North Run
There are two different ways you can join our team:
Great North Run charity places with MS Society
Register your interest to run with us in the 2024 Great North Run and we'll contact you once places are available.
Registration fee: £30
Minimum fundraising target: £300 (excluding Gift Aid)
Use your own place
If you already have your own place in this event, we’d love to have you on our team. There's no minimum sponsorship target, just raise as much as you can. Click the button below to register and order your running vest and fundraising pack
