Hi

I thought the same when dx in 2003.

Then saw advert for parachuting with ms for charity & guessed if you can do that then rollercoasters are no problem.

Since then I have been on lots and lots of them all over the UK & abroad. I am a coaster nut and as I use my wheelchair I get priority boarding.. P'ees people off who have queued for ages ;-)

hey I can remember I went to thorpe park last August, Ive always felt fine normally on rollercoasters and loved them, then this time after every ride I felt really sick and my balence went a bit unsteady after, I didint have a good nights sleep the night before so that didnt help I bet. I would say if you really enjoy them then go for it and don't let MS put you off!

Hi there, personally I recommend them!! back in 2011 me and my friends had a trip to disneyland Paris booked and 5 weeks before I had an optical neuritis loosing the vision in my right eye.. It was at this point I was given my formal diagnosis . So as you can imagine I was all over the place as we going to cancel going to Disneyland as I was worried about walking in to stuff etc. but my friends told me not to, and I'm glad I did go. apart from the fact i had a great time, after the 1st day I woke up and my vision was back in my right eye ! Completely back I couldn't believe it. When I got home I had an appointment with my neurologist and I told him , he though it was funny but said that there could have been a connection with the signals that go round the Brain when you experience a roller coaster. So some people go to Lourdes and holy lands , I go to Disneyland lol lol lol xAnnax
