Hi each and everyone,

I have just given a lady called Barbara advise about trying not to stress too much because as we all know stress makes our symptoms worse. Well who am I kidding!!!confused At the moment I have my son being bullied at school, it is being sorted but he is so unhappy bless him. Then last night I had a phone call from my daughter who is off to see her doctor because she keeps getting fits so now I am worried about her. This morning I have woken up with spasms which is usually controlled by Gabapentin nicely and pain, awful pain in my leg!! I know it is worry causing it.

I don't expect any answers but just felt like SCREAMING!!! There that's betterhappy2

Thanks for listening,

Sarahxx

Go ahead and have a good scream Sarah!!!

It's true. Any stress at all sends my MS into way up there. And I'm talking about stuff like not being able to get the lid of the toothpaste off. I don't think people realise just how bad stress is for MS. I just have to keep reminding myself... hey you've got a chronic disease of the central nervous system. It's like the computer that runs your body, mind, emotions etc etc. If it messes up everything messes up...

My heart goes out to you hon. Dealing with some mega issues there. Have a good ole scream and then remember that 'this too will pass' (also useful to say as a mantra when dear old MS makes you constipated).

Feel better,

Love, Pat x

Hi Pat,

The constipation bit made me laugh, I needed to laugh!!happyI can also relate about the stress of small daily things that we can't manage anymore. This year I am sending as few Christmas cards as possible because just gripping a pen can be a challenge! You are right though all these tough situations do pass or get sorted one way or another it's just at the time it all presses down on you. I think we do tend to forget ms is a disease that affects our central nervous system but stress certainly reminds us.

I thank you for your kind words Pat and hope you are keeping ok. I always say ok because I know that's as good as it gets with ppms.

Love Sarahx
