Just a quick question.

I seem to have lost my sense of taste and smell.

I just thought food had got boring at first but my husband pointed out spicey my food was cooking and it was too spicey to eat. I can't taste it at all.

Anyone else got this?

No, I haven't had this and it sounds awful. I think someone posted on this on the old site so hopefully they're still around and can come to your aid (((hugs)))

Thanks for getting back to me.

It could just be something different, I don't know.

Taste and smell are closely linked so it could be that smell is the main culprit. You really need to report this to someone. I can't remember if you're diagnosed? If you are, then give your MS nurse a call. If you aren't, then you need to get the info to your neuro via your GP. It would be worth getting it properly checked out by your GP anyway - there are non-neurological causes for this kind of thing.

I hope it comes back soon - food without taste must be a complete bummer :(

No, not diagnosed yet as moved country during tests.
Food is awful without taste but I will look on the bright side with this one. I am overweight and going off food is no bad thing for me. :)
