I hav'nt been on here for a long tme...guess I keep going into denial.

Feeling very low at the moment...have stopped taking Rebif with the consent of doctor...I don't think it was doing me any good.

keep getting strange feeling in face..as if it's crumpling up...weird. I have tired legs constantly and crampy pains in shoulder blades and top of spine...has anyone else had this?....don't know if it's to do with MS.

Relationship is going down the drain...after 16 years and I am trying everything in my power to stop this....

Can't get a job...

I just can't seem to pick myself up.....

Thanks

M x

Hello Molly,

Sorry to read that Rebif doesn't seem to suit you. I think that I am lucky as I have been on it for some time, and so far (that I know of) no side effects. When it comes to MS symptoms, the things you describe sound pretty much like it. At the moment I have a strange feeling on my face (have had for about ten days), which feels as if a pretty hefty spider is walking over me. The tired legs are also very much MS, but I wouldn't be too hard on yourself at the moment, as you are bound to feel under a lot pressure with your relationship wories. Are there no friends/family around you who can offer support? Depression is also a very commen symptom of MS too, so perhaps you could have a word with your GP for some help. I really hope that all of this is just a passing phase. Take care of yourself,

                               Moira

Hi Molly,

i had the same problem with rebif. i was on it for a year and it nearly ruined my life, caused a chemical inbalance in my brain, and i was put on mental health medicine to conteract it, but nearly killed myself throu no fault of my own. i just dont think some people can cope with the interferon in rebif. i was fine after a few weeks of coming off the rebif. so this might explain the low feeling you are having. but by the looks of it ur also having relationship problems, to be honest maybe try sitting him down and telling him how u feel and ur worries for now and in the future, talking things threw might help. because they just dont know how we feel living everyday with ms. xx

Hi....thanks for you replies....I find it hard talking to friends and family...I guess thats why i have come on here...

Every time i try and talk to my friends they always seem to have something going on so i end up listening to them....also i'm frightened to talk to my partner as then the problems all become reality and the future terrifies me....i think i'm bored...at home i mean...no conversation.... and nothing in common anymore....

i want to feel alive again.....there i've said it...wow...that feels better !!

I WANT TO FEEL ALIVE AGAIN !

I had a dreadful problem with a different interferon, it left me so anxious after one dose I was unable to function, interferons are notoriously hard on your system, are they monitoring your bloods etc?
