Translating the NICE and NSF guidance into practice a guide for occupational therapists
Published in June 2009, this guide for occupational therapists is a
result of collaboration between the MS Society and theCollege of
Occupational Therapists.
Developed by an advisory group of specialistMS occupational therapists
the key aims of the guidance are to:
• support occupational therapists in the implementation of the NICE and
NSF guidance for the management of MS in primary and secondary care
• place the NICE and NSF guidance in the context of everyday occupational therapy practice in MS
• pose key questions for occupational therapists in relation to clinical
decision-making in MS and provide information for audit purposes
• direct occupational therapists to additional information and resources.
