Independent Living
The MS Society is pleased to launch their new training courses for local authorities. Each of the courses has been designed to take into account the changing nature of services and the different roles of staff within authorities.
Delivery of courses: All courses to local authorities are delivered on behalf of the MS Society by our trainer, Lindsay Goward.

Duration: All courses are full day courses and run from 10am–4pm but times can vary depending on local need.
Cost of courses: All courses are £350 per full day. Invoices will be sent to the local authority contact listed on the booking form following the completion of the training.

Training for practitioners
This course is designed to help practitioners understand the issues in MS especially in relation to assessment of need, assisting individuals to develop personal plans and the barriers to independence.Aims of course for Practitioners (166 kb)

This course is designed to assist staff to understand some of the most important symptoms of MS.
