The 'Fast Track Scheme' was launched in 2002 to help fund MS nurses following on from the creation of the Risk Sharing Scheme under which patients were given access to Disease Modifying Drugs (DMDs) funded by the NHS. It was anticipated that the demand for DMDs would increase and that there would need to be more MS nurses to support people who were taking them.

 

Who are the Fast Track Partners?
