Clinical Physiotherapist in Neurology - Chester

We are developing a brand new post for a Clinical Physiotherapist in Neurology. The post will be based at Chester MS Support Centre.

The post holder will have experience in neurological techniques and help to provide a specialist physiotherapy service for adults with multiple sclerosis and the emphasis will be on enabling and empowering people to achieve their maximum potential through individual and group work.

Responsibilities will include assessment, advice, support, treatment, education and information. You will be working very closely with local partners to ensure a whole system approach.

The position will be supported by a Senior Physiotherapist and a Therapy Assistant and Continuing Professional Development in your clinical area will be actively encouraged.

Case Manager Multiple Sclerosis Service OT Specialist - Berkshire East PCT

This post will:
  • work across the Berkshire East PCT(Windsor & Maidenhead, Bracknell & Slough) as a specialist occupational therapist, for those with a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, in order to ensure consistencies in service delivery and care.
  • have responsibility and professional leadership, in conjunction with social care colleagues across Berkshire East PCT, for delivering occupational therapy services to those people with a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.
  • carry a caseload of patients with a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and identified complex health and social care needs.
  • work as a member of the MS specialist service along with other health and social care providers to ensure continuity of service delivery to all MS patients.
