Cookery Theatre
The Asian MS Support group bring you the Cookery Theatre where you can see top chefs cooking exciting dishes from around the world.
The Cookery theatre was held on Saturday 29th March from 10.30 till 3.30. We had 5 chefs cooking a variety of dishes and they each had one hour to cook in front of a live audience.
The theatre was situated in a separate section from the main hall and this was ideal in terms of space, but not so easily found by some people as there were not any proper signs leading people to where the cooking was taking place. There were also issues with the cookery theatre not being mentioned in the event guide and people were finding out about it too late.
Each chef did have an audience of about 100 people although it was a bit of a slow start in the morning and the first chef only had about 50 people attending.
Our celebrity chef Michael Caines attracted about 150 people and he did stay back for photo opportunities and interviews.
Overall the event was a success and there has been some very positive feedback from people that attended.
