Exhibition
A popular destination for many visitors to MS Life was the exhibition.
Running from 10am until 5pm Saturday and Sunday, there was the opportunity to learn more about new and relevant products and services that can help make life easier, as well as the chance to participate in activities and interaction with others in the MS community - all in a relaxed environment.
Distinct zones made it straightforward for visitors to find their way around.
The Experts zone included an opportunity to meet 1-1 with MS Scientists, MS Nurses, Physiotherapists, Psychologists & Occupational Therapists and even ask direct questions to some of the speakers who presented on the main stage.
The Employment zone featured the Department for Work and Pensions with lots of staff available to answer questions and provide up to date information.
The Mobility zone showcased a range of the latest products for indoor and outdoor use available from a wide variety of exhibitors.
For the first time we had a Table Top Village zone where charitable organisations including therapy centres and other organisations connected or relevant to MS highlighted their aims and activities.
Visitors benefitted from the free Internet Café where they surfed the web for information needed to locate services or products.
People were able to discover the many and varied network organisations present in the Support zone. The main MS Society stand featured, together with a number of staff from the MS Helpline.
The Leisure zone surprised and delighted with the many and varied holiday and relaxation options available.
Those with young children were welcome, and able to let them have supervised fun in the Crèche while their parents and guardians wandered around the other zones.
