The Convicts Opera – by Stephen Jeffreys adapted from the Beggar's Opera Saturday 24th January 2009 – 2.30 pm Location: Salisbury Playhouse (Please note there is a charge of £6 per person for this event.) An Out of Joint and Sydney Theatre Company Production On board a ship bound for Australia a group of convicts are ordered to put on a show set in the criminal underworld of a London they have left behind - a world packed with such larger than life characters as highwaymen, MacBeath and his lover sweet Polly Peacham. Branch A.G.M Saturday 14th March 2009 – 12 Noon Location: Sulis Club, Claverton Down Road Speakers include Adrian Gilder (MS Therapy Centre, Warminster) and Jacqui Buckley (MS Local Support Officer). If you don’t fancy the formality of the A.G.M. then why not come along later to the Spring party. It would be great to see you at one, if not both of these events.
