What we do

We offer support and information for those affected by MS in our area.

For example:

  • Support and Benefits issues
  • Branch Newsletter
  • Information about MS - this includes publications, person-to-person contact and information events
  • Monthly social gathering
  • Financial Assistance

Support
The committee offers support and information to all those affected by MS, their families and carers. This includes emotional support, financial support, advice on holidays and respite care.

Information is held on other local organisations who could provide help e.g. Healthcare professionals, social services and benefit agencies. Grants are available where applicable to help towards equipment, respite, holidays etc.

Publications
We stock a number of publications and back copies of our newsletter. If you would like to get a copy, please email the branch

Membership
There is a minimum £5 annual branch subscription. For this you will receive a copy of the national publication, MS Matters, Stepping Stones - our Bi-monthly branch newsletter - and entitlement to vote at the branch AGM.
