What we do

We offer support and information for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in our area.

The Mid Herts Branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society (MSS) is run entirely by volunteers. Most of our volunteers have MS. We cover the Welwyn, Hatfield and Stevenage area.

  • We have a Branch Committee, for more information, see our Contacts page.

  • Newly diagnosed people can talk to our volunteer Carol Bartels by telephone or e-mail - again see our Contacts page.

  • We stock a number of free publications.

  • We have a quarterly newsletter called WHat'S the MeSSage?

  • We hold regular Social and Fundraising events.
If you need help or have any questions please contact our branch by telephone or email. You don't have to be a member.


Membership of Mid Herts branch

There is a minimum £5 annual branch subscription.
For this you will receive a copy of the national publication, MS Matters, the branch newsletter and entitlement to vote at the branch AGM. In addition you will be invited to attend the various functions arranged by the branch committee throughout the year.
