Support Our trained MS Support Officer is always available to assist with any problem relating to MS. We want people with MS, their families and carers to feel that they are not alone and there is support available if they need it. We are also keen to support people with MS to keep healthy and we are always looking at providing services to help achieve this. Do you have any ideas we could consider? Carers Carers are vital to people with MS and it helps to know that there are others who have the same difficulties as them. To provide support we have a carers group that meets once a month at the home of our Carers Officer. Why not take a look at our Carers Page. Information Having information is vital in dealing with any problem and we hold a full range of the Society's literature covering every aspect of living with MS. All literature produced by the Society is free of charge.
Membership There is a £5.00 annual subscription and this entitles members to our monthly branch newsletter and also the Society's bi-monthly magazine 'MS Matters'. Membership is a great way to keep up to date with what is happening locally and with the latest research and news. Membership also gives you the opportunity to decide how the branch is run. Groups We have a sub group, The Helston & Lizard Group, and other informal groups. As we are very rural and cover a wide geographical area groups like these can be invaluable in reaching people affected by MS living in outlying areas.
