Siobhan was diagnosed with MS 16 years ago when she was 21 years old and has been a member of the MS Society since then. She is a member of the Research Network and has been involved in the Partnership Awards since their introduction. She also assists in assessing Research Grant proposals. Siobhan is a staff nurse and also has a BA Degree in Commerce and French. She is passionate about the work of the MS Society and is delighted to serve as Trustee to ensure the society always works for the direct benefit of all those affected by MS.
Siobhan is very keen to see MS Research translated into tangible help for the entire MS community, whether that be via medications, social and economic support or improved healthcare services. Each and everyone of us affected by MS can help to beat MS. She feels that together we can work to ensure that the MS Society remains focused and continually strives to meet that end. MS presents in many ways but however affected, the primary aim remains the same and that is to fight MS.
