Clare is married with one child.

Her career has revolved around managing business risk and she believes this experience will be a positive addition to the MS Society Board. Her current role includes corporate governance, which has given her an appreciation of how well-governed organisations can contribute to overall success.  She has a good understanding of the role of a trustee and has practical experience of a broad range of business issues, coupled with formal qualifications that she believes will add value including an MBA.

However, qualifications and experience are merely additions to the real reasons why she believes she can make a difference as a trustee.  Having MS means different things to different people; for Clare, it has given her a deeply felt passion for the MS cause and a need to be a positive contributor.  She understands the power of hope and the overwhelming need to have a future, a future Clare can help the MS Society shape. She hopes to give something back to a Society she believes passionately in; a Society worth investing in.
