MS Society Awards 2010 - nominations closed!
Entries for the MS Society Awards 2010 have now closed. All entries are currently being assessed and will go through a short listing process before the finalists for each category are announced on the website in mid March.
The MS Awards are the Society’s way of recognising the best in the MS Community. Watch our film from last year's event to find out what the Awards are about and to meet the winners.
Categories for this year's Awards include the MS inspiration award, best MS information resource, MS volunteer of the year, fundraiser of the year, campaign of the year, and carer of the year. We also have awards for best research project and best researcher, and an award to recognise the best MS professional.
In the words of Ian Williams, 2009’s fundraiser of the year for his work with MS Cymru: “There are perceptions in the wider world that people with MS are very limited in what they can do, but it does not have to put the brakes on lives. I feel so proud and privileged to be MS fundraiser of the year. I will definitely use this to spur me on to bigger things.”
The ceremony will take place in London on 22 April 2010. If you need more information, email the communications team or call the Awards office on 01494 671332. You can also contact the Awards office if you have any questions about a category.
