I visited MS Life today and attended some interesting sessions.  It was good to see so many people there.

However, the unfortunate mismatch between the size of the audience and the room allocated meant that on several occasions things got a bit crowded and I, and at least a dozen others, missed one talk altogether because there was absolutely no room.

I tried to log on to see the research talks this evening but, despite the assurance that the webcasts will be available for a month after the event, there was nothing there.  I do hope they will be posted soon.

This was my 1st MS LIFE and it was very good.  Extremely pleased and surprised.

Hired a wheelchair to get around and thank you to Fairmobility for their hard work. However 10.00 on Sat morning and there was a long line of ppl at wheelchair hire, with sticks/crutchs and only ONE person on the desk! considering every person in that queue had difficulty standing for lengthy periods, or got tired doing so AND there were 3 chairs to wait on.................Could Do Better, folks!

However BIG thank you to the MS spa. do it again girls! Expand it, offer more treatments..........total success there.

The family came to MS Life and we all had a fab time.  Could have been a few more stalls and maybe more information about what was going on arond the hall.  I found out my MS Nurse was there giving help and advice.  Did not know that or see her and also my OT was giving a talk.  Did not know that either.  Would have been helpful to have found this out before hand as I did not even know there was a "talk to the Professionsl" stand.  Would have been good to chat to my MS Nurse as it would have been the first time in years I would have seen her!

Park and Ride were very well organised.

Was interviewed by Bob and Chloe.  Where is it??

Hi, I've clicked the links to watch the sessions from the Manchester MS event but they are not working ? You mention the content is available for a month after the April event and assume it has now been taken down? I write this in July 2012.

I would find it useful if it were still there. If that's not possible, suggest taking this option off the site as it just wastes time and mis-sets people's expectations.

Thank you
Simon

Hi Simon - thanks for pointing that out - the films aren't availabel any more. We have to time limit them to save on hosting costs.  I'll get the link removed...

Thanks

Bob (MS Society web team)
