Previous Diaries
I am 44 and was diagnosed 11 years ago and am now secondary progressive. Husband of 22 years, Dave, has coped admirably with things that no one ever dreamed of in the 'sickness and health' bit of the marriage vows. Two teenagers, Adam (very nearly 16) and Jenni (14). I could write forever about how great they are - and they really are - but I won't. I've just been put onto Disease Modifying Drugs! In my spare time I edit the MS Society's West Midlands website.
I'm 47 with secondary progressive MS. It started when I was 20 as RR. It was finally diagnosed in 1983. I have been helping the MS Research Unit at Bristol for more than 12 years and maintain their website: http://www.digitalbristol.org/members/msfirst
Hi my name is Janet and I have relapsing remitting MS and was diagnosed in August last year. I have been offered to go on a trial for the new drug Antigren by my Consultant.
I am 48-years-old, diagnosed with RR MS. approx 6 years ago. I have a 22-year-old son who is now doing his Masters degree in English.
I'm 43 and a Gemini. I was diagnosed in February 1999, but had symptoms going back at least ten years before that. I have tried, and continue to try, a range of approaches (both orthodox and alternative) to combat MS. I live in Ipswich with my partner Julie and several fish.
I'm 42 and was diagnosed in August 1999. I had an attack which started in Jan 99 and left me numb from the waist down. It took 2 years to recover to the point where I feel mostly okay though am still on medication.
I am 41 years young with a 9 year old son. Diagnosed 2 years ago with MS which is now early progressive.
