Daphne Wright

Daphne taught herself to paint using books and the help of friends. She finds it's a good way to while away the hours.

'My name is Daphne Wright. I have had MS for 13 years, it is the PPMS but started as Relapsing/Remitting. I did art at school in the 50's but hadn't touched any since then. I am mainly self taught with books etc. but have a couple of very good artistic friends who are able bods, they have been very encouraging & supportive with advice. We meet once a week usually & I really enjoy getting together with friends & picking their brains. Painting to me is a great way of "losing" a morning, once I have got going I lose myself & time completely. I advise anyone to give it a try.'
